AJ Hall Brickwork

Please do not use this man. He is a conman. I hired him to repoint my house and he has completely ruined the Accrington brick. Since having multiple tradesmen out to quote to fix the work it has become apparent that he is well known for ruining houses. He is not qualified and has been reported to trading standards.

Please avoid at all costs. Has attempted to repoint my home and resulted in damaging all my brickwork. Other tradesmen don't want to touch it now it is if that poor standard. Also heard and seen so other recent botched jobs so emplor people to avoid

Having read these reviews and having ajhallbrickwork do numerous jobs for me I know about certain builders who are going round demeaning mr halls work . Surely the above people who live in stannes checked the so called guy who turned up slating mr hall , also I believe miss Nay and mr Rawcliffe know a colleague who has been trying to dodgy insurance claim in preston ,evidence can be provided . I see that work has been carried on the stannes property . Why do people put bad reviews on and be nasty with no proper evidence . Ajhallbrickwork is well experienced and just feels this ii rival chancers

Miss nay and mr steven Rawcliffe are young naive people who are face book freaks who will stop at nothing to ruin my reputation ,do not work for these people

I'm disgusted at how these above people slate ajhalllbrickwork ..it's beyond me .why they do it . I spoke with mr hall over this and he told me what was going .on .I believe the 30year old bracket of people are naive and selfish .and don't like mature trusting tradesman ...Tanya nay and Steven rawcliffe still owe me hall ..look at the job a rival tradesman has done

This man also operates as A J Hall Brickwork based from Blackpool. Met Andy on 9th Feb, discussed repointing work, informed him we were going to be getting scaffolding for the roofing so would like to try and get the repointing done at the same time. Andy was particular with who he used for scaffolding - had no issue with that and contacted his "contact", they didn't come back with a price so decided to find our own this took time to get quotes etc). In the meantime he told me to buy 3 5l masonry paint, total cost £220, I brought the paint, told him I had purchased it. Contacted Andy again on 23rd Feb as we were confirming dates with roofer, he informed me that he was getting booked up and it looks like it will be April. Had no issue with that and informed him April was fine, Message Andy to confirm start dates on Friday 26th February, Andy said he had been out working all day, was tired and to contact him on Monday. Contacted Andy to book him and said he was booked up until May! Within a space of 2 days he had got booked up for a whole month! I told him I was really disappointed to hear this as he knew we were looking to get the work booked in asap and he asked me to call him on Monday. I've not been in touch since - thankfully found a professional to do the work. Please do not buy anything in advance if you are getting work done by Andy, he may let you down and you will be stuck with the goods and please be cautious when booking with this company or A J Hall Brickwork they are not reliable and may let you down at last minute. Reading the reviews posted on here, I think I've been very lucky and dodged a cowboy builder.

Dee Smith Mr Hall priced your job bk in Feb and quoted you And he advised you to buy the masonary cream .as you told him you were doing some of the work .as regards the scaffolding he got you a,quote from chorley scaffolding and you met the firm on site 2400 was his price .and you informed Mr Hall of this .Mr Hall decided not to do your job as it became apparent you were nothing but penny pinching. And you stalk tradesman .your review is nothing to do with Mr Halls.work it's just you being selfish because you carnt get your own way ..this is typical of ethnic minorities using the race card. Mr Hall is not a cowboy these people are hell bent on ruining his business. She is a very controlled stalker

I wish to review Mr Hall has numerous happy clients of which is my self I carnt help but feel that there are customers like Mrs dee Smith. Who want to demean Mr Hall. Her review is nothing but hatred .and spit the dummy out attitude. If she had let Mr Hall know sooner he would have done her job .wether a,scaffolding guy turned up to price or not .her review has nothing to with his work . I believe she is hellbent on ruining people who don't bow down to her .avoid her as she stalked a,tradesman .51 times as she cudnt get her own way .she also uses the race card .any tradesman avoid her

Mr Hall always does a good job ..why is Mrs dee Clark causing damage to Mr halls business by attention seaking .the review does not cause any harm to his work. He is an established business and I think most people reading her review it's all about her not booking the job in sooner .and if this is the way she reacts wen she doesn't get what she wants .I wouldn't like to work for her .she probably stalks people ??avoid dee clark Blackpool Rd preston .

Another customer Mrs Smith spitting her dummy out as she carnt get her own way the review her way of trying to ruin Mr halls work .all because she cudnt wait for him .decent tradesman are with there weight in gold .and are always booked up in advance. Think she needs to understand that .

I recently employed Mr Hall to carry out remedial work on my Chimney stack, this was done and from this I then employed him to repoint the front and gable end of my home. Mr Hall was half way through this when he fell ill and subsequently so did his mother. I kept in touch weekly for an update on when he felt he would be back and of course to ask how he and his mother where. After 3 weeks I asked again when he would be back and he said he would see how the week went, on the Thursday I messaged him again asking when he would be back and informed him that myself and wife where losing a little patience with this and would expect to see him back the following week to finish the work. As we had paid him up front. Which as a consumer is well within my rights, I was then informed I was not speak to a tradesman like that. I the left him a voice mail to inform him that as a customer and consumer having paid in full I was within my rights. He then said he would not be coming back and offered to refund some monies, which is insufficient as he has only completed half the work. Couple this with the quotes I have now received and issues pointed out with his work from all of the professionals who have looked has forced me to take this to court. Finally see below; Terrible workmanship. Terrible time keeping. Terrible attitude. Left the garden in a dangerous state for our dogs inc rotting food, saw blades and medication lying about. Piles of disused plastic work and cast iron guttering, empty COSHH containers lying around, super glue, aerosols, sealant. Tacks and screws strewn everywhere. This for an apparent tradesman is utterly unprofessional. Slagged off other tradesmen who have obviously had to put his work right. Claims there is a vendetta against him because other people are jealous. Avoid at all costs. Then reading on here and other sites reviews and how others who quite clearly have been asked by Mr Hall to post scathing attacks on people just goes to show that this man is a complete CON artist. Trading standards will be contacted to oust this man!

Mr Bradshaw you were very happy with my work .and had always said you were i have the emails and texts to prove it whilst I disagree with your review .this is just you and your wife having a go .you were having building work done. You obviously believe other tradesman ..as a tradesman yourself job .this review has nothing to do with my work .I offered you a part refund. And this is how you behave ...I have loads of happy customers .. maybe when having building work done .kp your animals in .and also mu mum has alsiemers and also believing rival company's who are he'll bent on ruing my business isn't the way to behave. .

Mr Bradshaw .I note your comments regarding Mr halls work .I employed Mr Hall back in May. The weather was awful..can I be honest .I only live round the corner. There is nothing wrong with his work ..think the issue here is you were having building work .and you should realise that empty tubs of building waste is always associated with ongoing works .your animals should have been kept in side . As regards other people's opinions of Mr halls work ..there are always rivals who are always hellbent on ruining other company's.....Mr Hall offered you a refund. He is not a conman .. if his work was that bad why did you offer him the house pointing .After the chimney ..?? Sour grapes over the refund. And bearing in mind some people wouldn't offer you anything ..

Poor workmanship. Having waited 4 months for work to be completed. Has not returned. Does not reply to text and i have referred Andrew to trading standards and my solicitor (Addies) is starting proceedings to recover my money.

Steven James I did work for you in Dec 2021 .of which you paid me for .less £1.50 for a bit of sealing round a door .if you weren't happy why did you pay me ..I've never refused to come back and have always acknowledged your messages via WhatsApp etc . Unfortunately my mum passed away in Feb..and it's been hard .you send me a text saying I want the job correcting or 100 pounds or I will take it further .I've offered you 50 .with no itemised invoice/estimate . I think most tradesman would agree . You do not part with any money without a proper invoice .

Avoid this man at all costs. Very rude. Doesn't finish jobs. Takes your money and provides half a job. Do not use him for any brickwork at your property, he will ruin your original brickwork.

Whoever this Lee is .this is a guy who is a scammer .under a false name as I've never done any work for a person of the above name .goes to show how many idiots there are who put negative reviews on line

Andrew Hall is a cowboy. I have obtained a County Court injuntion requesting refund of my money. His work is appauling and he appears to have run from his home address. This is no longer his business address.

I have now obtained a Court order for a full refund and costs. A court and 2 tradesman have deemed Mr Halls work and his customer contact as sub standard. Do not use this man if you can.

Ware is your evidence I'd like see the proof Steven as everything you have kept saying please be aware general public that I do a good job .and this client paid me in full minus 1 50 . It appears other tradesman are trying to ruin my reputation and customers are being sucked in .if a client isn't happy they shouldn't pay .I have a good client reference.
