I paid £295 for Steve to fit luxury pile carpet/ laminate to stairs and hallway. 2 months later, I asked a local carpenter to put new underlay under his work as the carpet had flattened. This carpenter didn’t know that Steve had partially glued my hallway carpet to the existing underlay and it ripped holes in the carpet. I had another independent fitter check the problem and they sad the fault was with the unnecessary gluing by the first fitter. At first, Steve offered to pay half costs for new carpet in the hallway, when I said I didn’t want to pay half, he recinded his offer to pay half and said it wasn’t his fault. Terrible work and after service
